I replaced a Ryobi set of tools because this set cost less than buying the Ryobi lithium batteries and charger. There is no comparison between the quality of these tools over Ryobi. Between the power, battery duration, and various tool adjustments the Milwaukee is far superior. The addition of the led lights really puts these tools in a class of their own. Battery recharge takes only about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this set to anyone seeking battery powered tools.I use these tools as a builder of plywood based furniture for a interior decorator's workroom.

I purchased this kit just before Christmas for my son. There was a special deal with the same kit number that gave you a free Milwaukee M12 cordless Multi-tool in the same box. This is a great buy as it gave you a $100 tool for free. The entire kit was $199 and the part number at that time was 2497-22p. Regardless of whether you get the free tool or not, this Milwaukee tool kit is what you need around the home to do your projects.I use these Milwaukee tools for quick projects and they are powerful and small. The batteries are quick charge and I have not had a problem with the products yet. At the store when I purchased the impact driver they had a demo set up. You could actually drive a 3 inch deck screw through a treated 2X4 and out the other side with ease. The kit came with the power hammer drill, hex impact driver, oscillating tool, charger, two batteries and a nice carrying case. The hammer drill features high torque at variable speeds. The hex impact driver also features variable speeds with an impact torque of 850 in-lbs. which is amazing in such a small package. The nice thing about this size of power tool is that it fits into tight places like inside of a shallow cabinet and you have room to fit the power tool into the cabinet to drill or to install the mounting screws. Larger drills sometimes just will not work as they will not fit into the tight places where you have to work. The LED light helps you to see your spot and they work well. The small size also lets you carry it around and not get tired holding it up to do work over your head for example. You can even hang them on a tool belt to carry around while working on a project. The oscillating tool was just a Christmas bonus and was nice to get. I haven't used my son's yet as I have a Rockwell SoniCrafter but I know how helpful these multi-tools can be. Maybe he will stop borrowing mine now.The batteries are fast recharge and in about 15 or 20 minutes you can use them. These tools are handy, powerful and are surprisingly light. They are just very good quality when compared to the competition. You will like them!

These two tools are well worth the purchase. The impact drill works well for setting screws into lumber and the hammer drill function works great with 1/4" masonry bits and 3/8" bits work well too.

I had previously reviewed the Impact driver after purchasing it, only to return it so I could buy this combo kit for not much more money. I was more than intrigued by the only subcompact hammer-drill on the market and it does not disappoint. I already knew that the Impact Driver was incredible and have written a review on the quality and durability of it in which I detailed a test that I put it through. I will admit that I got a better deal from Home Depot for this combo than I could find here on amazon, but that shouldn't detract from this review at all.I was like a little kid when I got this kit home and immediately charged up the batteries so I could try out the hammer-drill. After charging, I placed various Bosch hammer-drill bits in the chuck and went to town on brick and ciderblock. To say that I was impressed would be the understatement of the year. This thing rocks!!! I don't know why I waffled so long before purchasing this drill. It makes drilling masonry so much easier and even kind of fun. It is so lightweight that it is like a dream for your hand. I drove about 20 tapcons of various length through scrap brick and cinderblock without a hiccup. Even after doing this the battery level indicator still showed a full charge on my battery.I was amazed and really couldn't be happier with this tool. I know some people will complain about this not coming with the blow-molded case, but the bag is very strong and durable. You also can fit more things in here like; other m12 tools, accessories, spare batteries and whatever else you wanted. And to those idiots who complain about the chuck loosening...after you tighten it with the trigger, you need to use your hand and manually tighten it a little bit more until it clicks. It is a very audible click and then your bits will not slip from the chuck due to loosening. An amazing buy and will look into more m12 tools and will be getting the XC batteries as well. These batteries are by no means bad, but XC batteries double runtime easily and balance the tool better. Thanks...Ray.

I purchased this 12VDC cordless combo drill and impact driver to supplement my 18 VDC cordless models as the are smaller and lighter in weight. I have found that I use these more often than the 18 VDC as the perform every bit as well as the larger and heavier models. I do have to charge them a little more often but with two batteries and the fast charger that came with the combo it is not a problem. I really like the performance.

I purchased a bosch sub compact driver almost 2 years ago and it has been fantastic. As a contractor my main tool is the dealt 18v line there heavier and more ugly then Milwaukee, or makita but there powerful and last plus the most important point is how interchangeable the battery's are I have 14 tools and 2 dual chargers makes my life very happy. So now to milwaukee vs bosch. My Bosch driver has been a godsend why it's small powerful and just plain light and handy. After research I wanted to invest in a few handy tools like the multi- tool, larger battery's, dremal, rep saw, light, dual chargers. Well come to find out the bosh line becomes limited on there 12v options , and Milwaukee has over 40 tools in there line. What I can have 1 battery system for 40 tools sign me up. So I sold my Bosch on eBay and started with this kit there nice tools I actuality only bought this because I got the multi- tool for free with the kit I prefer the feel of the sub compact driver over this drivers otherwise I use my 18v. As for tool brands I feel they all come fairley close unless your talking about Roybi there just underpowered heps of scrap. I tend to look at things as a system and not and individual tool. If your looking for a set of specialized tools, home owner use or just plain small light and handy here u go.. If u think your going to build a deck or shed u might want to invest in 18v. Minus 1 star for not having a dual or triple charger. You here this Milwaukee? As for Bosch I love your driver I'm sad to see it go, but I hate having chargers laying every ware and u guys need more option in the 12 v system.

Why in the world would this cost $368? Hopefully, a major typo mistake on Amazon's part. Very good tools, though.Edit: Typo indeed. They had initially entered the "list price". It's all good now.
