This one had 3 cables. I thought one was ground but nope. since they are clear cables I had no idea which is which. Trial and error got it working. Looks very nice.
The lamp looks good, but the bulb inside hangs from a totally loose socket, the little cap on top is also totally loose, the wiring cap does not screw in with the hanging bracket, and the instructions are a complete mess! Lost hours on a ladder, and now it hangs crooked, the bulb off center, the cap on top also off center. Horrible experience.
I purchased three of these lights for the bar in my basement. I opened one of the boxes and it was PERFECT. The red was beautiful and it was exactly how I wanted it to look. However, once my electrician hung all three and flipped on the lights, they are NOT the same. Two of them are red and one is a golden/amber/orange color. I double checked that I ordered three of the same light, but, while the boxes were the same, the lights are not.So, I would warn you to be careful and check your order if you are purchasing multiple pendant lights.
I just purchased 3 of these pendant lights to go above my island in my kitchen. OMG so beautiful!! I was going to purchase another pendant light that cost 4 times the amount of this light, but I am sooo glad that I did not. This pendant light is gorgeous! It is a dark burgundy when the light is not on, but when the light turns on, its a pretty shade of red. These lights have a very pretty design and are very contemporary, yet fit in with a transitional look too. I am so glad that I bought them!! Do realize, however, that the wire attached to the pendant light is clear with a light green line that goes thru it. It doesnt bother me, but I am mentioning it b/c its not apparent from the picture.
