I can't tell you how nice it is to have some space back on my dresser. After seeing all my jewelery on this one organizer, I can't believe I fit so much on the dresser! I just love this organizer. It arrived in great condition, and only took me about a minute to assemble it and hang it on the back of my bedroom door. It looks great, and all my jewelry is easy to access. I used to have a fit getting some of my earrings off my earring tree. Don't have that problem with this.It holds all my jewelery, plus my husband's watch collection, and I still have room to grow! I definitely recommend this to anyone - money well spent!
After I opened the shipping box, I let this item sit for a few days because it looked like it was complicated to assemble. I was completely wrong. It could not have been easier. I chose the over the door option and secured the organizer with one middle screw which was enough to keep the organizer from bouncing whenever I opened the closet door. All hardware for over door or wall mounting was included. After about 10 minutes I was ready to take all of my costume jewelry, which I kept in several places trying to keep it organized and place it on this spacious organizer. Everything is now visible and in one spot. I don't have to search all over looking for that one elusive piece of jewelry every morning.I would have like to give the organizer five stars, but had to take one off because of the height. I'm pretty tall and I have some trouble seeing all the items as I would like to. If you are a shorter person you will not be happy with the over the door mount because you would have trouble seeing and reaching the jewelry stored at the top of the unit. A better option would be to mount the unit on the wall.
My concern of ordering this jewelry organizer was that it was going to be much smaller (and flemsy) than I expected. Much to my delight, the organizer is a good size and works great! Although I purchased it mainly to store my necklaces, I'm using the earring holder, too. At first, I hesitated because of the price, but I shopped around and decided it was a competitive price (compared to buying a standing jewelry armoire). If you buy more than one, the shipping cost is the same (I bought two others for gifts).
I love this jewlery organizer. It's perfect because I have so many accessories. The only thing is that it is super heavy so make sure you can mont this thing up. I would put it over my door, but it stops my door from closing all the way in plus it's pretty noisy when I tried to close my door because of all the jewlery hanging off of it. Hope this helps. I would say it's worth every penny though.
I have quite a few long beaded necklaces and chains as well as bracelets and bangles. I've tried jewelry armoires, jewelry boxes, plastic organizers, drawer organizers, and either couldnt fit everything because of space limitations or because some items were too bulky. I ended up not wearing many things because I just couldn't see what I had. This organizer is fantastic! I have it on the inside of my bedroom closet door so that when I'm getting ready for work I can just choose my jewelry quickly before I go. I can see everything at the same time and find I wear things I haven't in a long time because they're right in front of me. I also stay more organized and put things away when I come home at night because It's quick to replace what I've worn...no more opening drawers, lifting out little boxes or plastic trays, etc. (maybe I was lazy but I'd end up taking things off and just set them on my dresser...and usually wear the same thing the next day)I've used the small hooks at the top (the ones shown with rings) for additional necklace storage for my small pendants on 18" or 20" chains. I have to reach behind the bracelet rack to hang them but it's really no trouble and works great for me since I have too many large fashion rings to hang anyway. That's the only downfall, that there's limited ring storage. i still keep them in a drawer in a plastic compartmentalized tray. There is a nice little tray on this organizer where I put my watches which could certainly be used for rings.I've filled my organizer up and plan on getting another for inside my other closet door since I've started learning how to make jewelry. Amazon has the best price for this organizer too... I looked at a few organizing supply websites and compared prices. The vendor was super quick in delivery. I placed my order in the morning and I believe I had it the next day. I would definitely recommend this product. I feel like I finally found the solution to my organizing dilemma.
