The lamp is very pretty, although there was some smudges of dirt inside the lamp shade that will not come off. The lamp is nice it gives the room a nice cozy vibe and is a nice modern addition; the details on the lamp shade are very pretty. The order got a little messed up though, as we received an additional lap about a week after we got our original order in and then we had to deal with sending it back and clearing up the little mix up- so that was a little annoying and unnecessarily stressful- they should hire better staff to keep a more professional track of their records and orders- but the product within its self is nice.
I just finished putting together 2 of these lamps for my living room. The setup couldn't be easier- just screw the lamp socket and the three lamp pole pieces together to the base. Then slide the lampshade on and secure it with the large washer that screws on to the socket. The lamp shade is silver fabric with ornate circles and half circles surrounding the shade. There is an opaque backing behind the ornate circles that diffuses the light. This lamp calls for a 3 way maximum 150 watt light bulb and the light switch is located on the light socket.The only issue I had was that the outside of one of the light shades had a few dirt spots and scratches -despite being wrapped in plastic. A wet washcloth took care of most of the dirt spots and luckily for me, the scratches on the shade are not terribly visible.Oh and the only graphite accent I can see is the small cube at the base of the lamp.The lamps are beautiful and understated- perfect for a more contemporary living space.
This lamp is better in person. The white shade has cutout flowers and has a silk like sheen. When lit, the light filters through the cutouts and creates a nice effect. It has a three way switch so it's very useful placed anywhere. It was a snap to put together and I think a good buy for the price, it has a sturdy feel and a nice brushed silver finish. Also, the customer service was great, received my lamps in 2 days. Recommended!
