Product came as advertized with all the right parts. Quick delivery/shipping...we were able to install it right away on all of our doors and they looked great. Wife and I especially love the nickle finish on the doorknobs, much better than the gold doorknobs we had before. Product was not damaged in the shipping process. Would order this product again online.
We had lever-style door openers throughout the interior of our house. Amazingly, one of our cats learned how to open them and then taught the other cat the same trick. So, our cats had free range throughout the house and there was no way to police the situation.Well, at about this time we decided to do a remodeling of the interior and my wife decided that she didn't like the old brass lever handles and wanted satin nickel door knobs which would go better with our furnishings. So we solved two problems at once by getting these Schlage Satin Nickel Door Knobs and we got the privacy locks for all the doors. It amounted to five knobs altogether. They're good knobs. They were really easy to install and look very nice. We've had no trouble, but wouldn't expect any. We're very satisfied, but the cats don't care for them.Gary Peterson
Very good quality door knob, always liked the quality of the Schlage brand and this knob was no different. Not light and flimsy like many sold that might cost a little less. Worth the little extra cost.
What can I say? I replaced the door knobs for my entire first floor with the door knobs in the Schlage georgian antique pewter knob series. I needed a few more and bought this exact one. I couldn't find the antique pewter finish/color in the stores anymore. I have had them in my house for over a year, and just installed two more. They feel and look as good as the day I bought them. Even though I am not handy, I installed two in less than half an hour with just a screw driver and a razor blade (to trim the door slightly to match the shape of the new metal parts that fit into the door edge (I don't know what they are called). These knobs are very attractive and an easy upgrade from the standard, cheaper brand, shiny brass, knobs that came with the house. I couldn't be happier with them.** Much later, still liking them, got more for the rest of my house. They are holding up well.
